Apple Releases (a little late) Boot Camp Support for Windows 7

Although promised by year’s end in 2009, Apple announced today the release of Boot Camp 3.1 with support for both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7.

Macbook OS Now Compatible with Windows 7

It appears you must have Version 3.0 of Boot Camp installed prior to performing the 3.1 update. Version  3.0 can be found on your Snow Leopard disk.

Note: If you are running the 64 bit version of the Windows 7 OS, and are having trouble installing 3.0 you need to go to the Boot Camp/Drivers/Apple/ Directory on the DVD and run the BootCamp64.msi utility to get past the incompatibility warning.

Good luck!
