Fallen Arches: Nine Amazing Images before the Stone Collapsed

In the days prior to August 22, 2010 the Arch Rock formation also known as a Sea Arch at Tettegouche State Park on Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior fell into the water. The Duluth Tribune reports the story here.

Here are nine of my favorite images which I captured in the years preceding the sea arch’s fall.  These images may be purchased at my gallery here.

  2. ever since coming back from los cabos, i’ve been obsessed with arches. this one was a true beaut, esp in the winter! sad to see it go.

    but as one falls, i’m sure another will take its place….somwhere else, that is :) .
