In the days prior to August 22, 2010 the Arch Rock formation also known as a Sea Arch at Tettegouche State Park on Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior fell into the water. The Duluth Tribune reports the story here.

Farewell my favorite of arches. I shall have to console myself with the captured images of your majesty and with the sentinel pillar formation left behind.
